Due to the change in scale of the organisation and its working, we are recruiting for more voluntary Trustees to join us.
Are you an individual who is concerned about improving the lives of people?
Would you like to see better support for emotional health and wellbeing?
Do you have the knowledge, skills and expertise to support our drive to move the organisation even further forward?
It is an exciting time for the Somerset Counselling Centre, we are growing rapidly and are looking to meet the challenges of increased demand and an increasingly diverse organisation to meet these needs.
If you feel that you can commit a few hours every other month (either remotely or in person) and potentially more if you are able and interested, we would like to hear from you.
Being a Trustee of a charity can help you in many ways.
You might want to keep active in retirement, it might complement your existing work-life balance, it might be the illusive experience of Board meetings you can’t yet access in your current role, but you are looking to evidence for the next step. Everyone has different motivations to connect and make their difference.
We are seeking people of any age, gender and ethnicity, inclusivity is really important us. ou can live and work near or far.
Do you have experience in one or more of the following areas?
- Health or social care services or therapy services ( a clinical bias);
- Digital service delivery/marketing
- HR and organisational development
- Legal services
